Chloe Madison Seals, age 13, of Celina, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 20, 2021.  She was born December 31, 2007 in Toledo, Ohio to Joe H. and Angel M. (Fowler) Seals, both survive at the residence in Celina. 


Other survivors include a brother, Gage A. Seals, Celina; maternal grandparents, Michael (Jackie) Flower, Celina; and paternal grandfather, Jack Seals, Celina.


Chloe is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sandy Seals.


Chloe was a ray of sunshine and during her thirteen short years on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. 


Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, June 28, 2021 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service.  


Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.

Charlene Gayle Smith "Charlie", age 65, of Tehachapi, California, passed away 

Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, surrounded by her 

loved ones.


Charlene and her husband had relocated to Mendon just recently.


She was born October 27, 1955, in Bakersfield, California, to Charlie T. "Tom" 

and Juanita Vestal Wall.


"Charlie" married Jon Vincent Smith in July 2001, and he survives, along with 

their children: Alicia (Carlos) Hernandez and Farrah (Coby) Shumay of Tehachapi, 

Clifford "Kalup" (Desiree) Quinton of Harker Heights, Texas, Vincent (Kelly) Smith 

of Mendon, Angelika (Tim) Bohanna of Topeka, Kansas, and Duane and Jon Smith 

of Corpus Christi, Texas; siblings: Debbie Wall LaClair of South Carolina, Keith and 

Larry Wall of Washington, and Will Wall of Arkansas; 22 grandchildren, including: 

Desiree, Jessica, Maile, Aubrie, Gabbie, Malayzah, Brendan, Kristin, Cordin, Taylor, 

Christopher, Gavin, Patrick, Katilyn, Miranda, Taylor, Tyler, Brianna and Abigail; 

and 13 great grandchildren. 


She was preceded in death by her mother, and a daughter, Christina Smith.


Charlene had worked as a Registered Nurse in the Tehachapi area and as a 

traveling nurse.  She attended Highland Community College and graduated 

from Kansas State University.


An amazing mother and grandmother, "Charlie" loved spending time with 

her children and grandchildren, and having monthly dinners with the family.  


She particularly enjoyed RV travel, camping, and fishing, was an avid reader, 

and very devoted to her rescue dogs, "Baby" and "Pretty".


Calling Hours are from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27,​​​​​​ 

at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with the 

Funeral Service to follow, beginning at 2:00.  Pastor Jake Boroff

will officiate.  Burial will take place at Mendon Cemetery.

that supports animal rescue.
