FINK
Timothy “Tim” Gerald Fink, age 64, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3:18 pm at his residence following a battle with an aggressive cancer.  

 

He was born May 27, 1956 in Celina to the late Gerald and Anna Leota (Davis) Fink.  On October 1, 1988 he married Carol (Beyke) Fink and she survives at the residence in Celina. 

 

He is also survived by his son Kyle Fink of Celina; two sisters, Diane (Robert) Evans, Norwalk, Ohio and Nancy (William) Kalfs, Norwalk, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Kim (Dana) DeLisa, Columbus, Ohio.

 

Also, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Fink.

 

Tim was a 1974 graduate of Celina Senior High School.  He retired from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office as a Chief Deputy after 31 plus years of service.

 

He was member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina; a charter member of Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program; and a life member of Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association. 

 

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and loved all sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.

 

Attendees are asked to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the National Health Concerns of Covid-19.  Masks are required by Attendees at the visitation and funeral mass.

 

Visitation hours will be from 3 - 7 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, Ohio.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating.   The family will receive friends from 9:30 am – 10:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home.  

Friends and family are also invited to view the Mass of Christian Burial live on the Immaculate Conception website, celina-ic.org.


Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. 
 

Memorial contributions can be made to CHP Home Care and Hospice in Celina and/or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and/or 22Cares Foundation.
