She attended Mendon-Union School (Class of 1978), and

Wright State University and someplace in Florida to earn

2 Master's Degrees in education and counseling.

Betsy spent her first job working 17 years at Citizens Commercial

Bank in Celina.  Then she taught at St. Henry High School.  Later

she took the Guidance Counselor position for the high school, for

a total career of 22 years there at St. Henry.  She loved the people

there and planned to retire in 4 years.

Her first love was for the church and youth of any kind, shape

or size !  She was the Youth Leader for 35 years at the Mendon

Methodist Church - still cooking for the youth meals and helping

make money for the youth to go to Lakeside yearly.

She held many offices at the church.  (Church Treasurer, Lay

Leader, Teacher)  Just whatever it took to help keep it running

smoothly.  Always smiling and ready with a joke !

She loved to make chocolate chip cookies and they were everywhere

in the state.  Gifts for all !

There will be no visitation, as Betsy was cremated ( at her request )

A private service will be held at this time for immediate family and

close friends only.

Sometime in the future we may have a celebration at the church, but

not now, because of the virus !

Please, no flowers.  Instead, if you feel led to do so, donate something

to the General Fund at Mendon Methodist Church, P.O. Box 345,

Mendon, 45862.

God Bless You, and know that Betsy loved you too.
