PEARSON

Donna L. Pearson, age 90, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 

at her home in Celina.

She was born June 30, 1931, in Tama, a daughter of the late Ralph Albert 

& Carrie Irene (Anderson) Dysert, and her second mother, Cora Irey Dysert.

She married Edwin L. Pearson on June 30, 1949, and he preceded her in 

death July 31, 1993.

Donna was the mother of 5 children: Rick L. (Toni) Pearson of LaOtto, IN, 

twins: Patrick A. "Butch" Pearson, who died in February 2018 and Pamela 

K. Pearson of Celina, Ralph E. (Karen) Pearson of Bluffton, IN, and Donna 

Denise "Tootie" Pearson of Celina, also her 12 grandchildren, 19 great 

grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, daughter-in-law, Kathy Pearson, 

of Huntington, IN, and sister-in-law, Betty (Larry) Cook, of Bedford, IN.

Donna was preceded in death by her 7 brothers & sisters: Dalton Dysert, 

Dorothy Beougher, Doris Ellis, Dick Dysert, Bill Dysert, and infants Betty 

and Dorsey.

Donna was a member of American Legion Post #210 Ladies Auxiliary 

and the former Pilgrim Holiness Church in Celina.  She liked watching 

sitcoms and game shows on television.  

Favorite activities for Donna were spending time with her family and 

grandchildren, attending their sports and activities when she was able, 

and in years past, she enjoyed gardening.

Donna was a Homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great

grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Private Funeral Services will be held for the family at W.H. Dick & 

Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.

Burial will be at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Diabetes 

Association or The Cancer Association of Mercer County.
