HOFFMAN

 

Teresa “Tess” M. Hoffman, age 71, of Celina, passed away on November 25, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. 

She was born on May 25, 1949 in Celina to the late Luke & Norma Jean (Guyer) Smalley. 
 

Tess is survived by her loving family, two children: Melissa (Todd) Palmore of Westerville and Stephen (Heather) Hoffman of Celina; siblings: Debbie (Ron) Beams of Powell, Sandy (Don) Zeller of Celina, Cindy (Jeff) Acheson of Powell, and Tammy Blackman of Evans, GA; grandchildren: Tre, Brandon, Trey and Thea; and two great grandchildren: Sophia & Evie. 
 

Tess was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dick Smalley. 
 

Tess was a 1967 graduate of Celina High School.  She retired as a floral manager at the Giant Eagle in Lewis Center, Ohio, after nineteen and half years of employment.  She was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge #1473 and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 
 

Due to National Health Concerns of Covid-19, Tess’s memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donna May Link, age 56, of Mendon, passed away on 

Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the James Cancer 

Hospital at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical 

Center in Columbus. 

 

She was born July 28, 1964, in Mercer County, to

Donald & Eva Thomas Miller.  Her father is deceased,

and her mother survives in Celina.

 

Donna married Jerold Kenneth Link on June 20, 1987.    

He survives, along with her brother & 2 sisters: Vickie 

( Emerson ) Burkheimer of Mercer, Deb ( Denny ) Barrett 

of Celina and Ron ( Kassi ) Miller of Columbus, as well as 

3 nieces & a nephew, and many great nieces & nephews.

 

Donna graduated from Parkway High School.  She worked 

as a packer at Tuway in Rockford, where she had been

employed for 32 years.  

 

Donna belonged to the Lord's Abounding Grace Church in 

Celina.  She enjoyed baking cookies for family and friends.

 

There will be a Private Visitation and Prayer Service held 

at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, 

with Pastor Rick Brosher officiating.

McMURRAY

 

Wilma Nell “Nellie” McMurray passed away Wednesday, November 25th at The Laurels of Shane Hill.

Wilma was born August 25, 1931 to James and Ethel (Chew) Eley in Greenville, Ohio.  Her beloved

husband, Richard, preceded her in death. 

 

She is survived by her children Larry (Mary), Celina; Sharon (Mike) Craft, Tammy (Larry) Badgett and daughter-in-law, Elaine Oehrtmann, all of St. Marys.  She was a proud grandma to 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard, a great grandson, Owen Weaver, and her 11 siblings:  Ernie Eley, Nola Snyder, Helen Stump, Ruth Best, Marvin Eley, Melvin Eley, William Eley, James, Eley, Raymond Eley, Waveline Bromagen and Iva Puterbaugh.  Also, preceding her in death were her in-laws, Arthur and Imo McMurray, William McMurray, Charles McMurray, David McMurray, Roy

“Bus” McMurray, Don McMurray, Betty Boltz, Ruth Brodbeck and Mary Eberle.

 

Wilma worked at the St. Marys Cotton Mill and Joint Township Memorial Hospital. 

 

She will be remembered for her love for her family.  She had a kind heart and great sense of humor.

 

In her final years, she loved and appreciated all the caregivers at The Laurels.

 

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be no services. 

 

Private graveside services for the family will be scheduled at a later date.

 

Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice or the charity of your choice.
