CARPENTER
Evelyn Lou Carpenter, age 92, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:55 am at the Gardens of Celina. 

She was born on May 31, 1928 in Celina to the late Leon and Mary (Coil) Pond. 

On November 15, 1969 she married William Carpenter and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2006.
 

Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Melisa (Francisco) Ley, Tucson, Arizona, Deborah Head, Athens, Alabama and Tamara (Jason) Vance, Miami, Florida; a son, Jeffery (Shannon) Carpenter, Athens, Alabama; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four nephews and five nieces.

Also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Boroff; two sons, Ricky Boroff and Rick Carpenter; a brother, Bill Pond; three sisters, Dorothy Linn, Betty Konz and Mary Ford; and two grandchildren.
 

Evelyn was a 1946 graduate of Celina Senior High School.  She retired 1988 from Clark Grave Vault Company in Columbus after 28 years of service.  She was a member of Mercer United Methodist Church in Rockford.
 

Attendees are asked to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the National Health Concerns of Covid-19.  Masks are required by Attendees at the visitation and funeral.
 

Visitation hours will take place from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina, masks are recommended.
 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:00 am in Cisco Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am before the service at the funeral home.
 

Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
 

Memorial contributions can be made to C.A.L.L. Food Pantry in Celina.
