ROUTZAHN 

Thomas “Tom” Gale Routzahn, age 74, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 4:10 pm at Lima Memorial Hospital on November 17, 2021. 

He was born December 20, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Donald Luther and Mary Ellen (Higgins) Routzahn.  On December 16, 1989 he married Mary (Gibson) Routzahn and she survives at the residence in Celina. 
 

Other survivors include his stepchildren, Rob (Teresa) McKee, Celina, Tim Gillis, Wapakoneta, Bill Gillis, St. Marys and Lisa (Eric) Wheat, Celina; three brothers, Dan (Sherrie) Routzahn, Springfield, Ohio, Wayne (Karon) Routzahn, South Charleston, Ohio and Steve (Ginny) Routzahn, Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Carol Brassine, Lexington, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.  
 

Tom was a 1966 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Springfield, Ohio.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He worked for many years at Huffy Bicycle Manufacturing Company in Celina as a supervisor and retired from Technicolor in Detroit, Michigan also as a supervisor. 

He was a member of Lords Abounding Grace Ministries and he enjoyed, fishing, hunting, and playing softball.   He also enjoyed watching the Reds, Ohio State and the Chicago Bears.  Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he will be missed by them all.
 

Memorial services will be held at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Rick Brosher officiating; where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
