RODRIGUEZ

Patsy Ruth Rodriguez, age 83, of Montezuma, Ohio, passed away at her residence on January 23, 2020 at 6:35 pm.  She was born June 5, 1936 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late John and Beatrice (Mason) Gibson.  She married Benito Rodriguez on March 5, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2015. 

Survivors include two sons, Mark (Margaret) Rodriguez, Austin, TX and Phillip (Claire) Rodriguez, El Paso, TX; a granddaughter, Tracy (Scott) Rodriguez Michaelis, Sylvania, OH; two great grandchildren, Isaiah and Isabella; two brothers, Ron (Diane) Gibson, Celina, Charles Gibson, St. Marys; four sisters, Mary (Tom) Routzahn, Celina, Linda (Don) Gudakunst, Lima, Ohio, Brenda Ross, Celina, Rose (Ron) Thiebeau, Versailles, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Gibson; and a brother-in-law, Jim Ross.

Patsy retired from Huffy Corporation in Celina after 26 years of service.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Montezuma, Ohio.  Pasty was an inspiration and had a positive impact on so many lives.  She was loved by so many. 

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Celina, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to CHP Home Care and Hospice in Celina.
