KIMMEL

David K. Kimmel, age 69, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2020 at 11:46 am in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  

He was born on January 13, 1951 in Celina to the late William “WC” and Ruby M. (Merinar) Kimmel.  

On March 30, 1973 he married Sue M. (Dix) Kimmel, and she survives at the residence in Rockford.

He is also survived by a son, Joshua (Tambra) Kimmel, Celina; a daughter, Peggysue (Glenn) Keeling, Rockford; three grandchildren, Garret, Tina and Matthew; and a great-granddaughter, Brayla.   

David was a 1969 graduate of Parkway High School in Rockford.  He retired after being a truck driver for many years.  He was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church in Rockford.  He loved his pet dogs and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
