FELTZ

 

Raymond F. Feltz, 76, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove City, Ohio. 

He was born August 28, 1946 in Cassella, Ohio to the late Raymond J. and Olive (Bensman) Feltz. 

On September 19, 1970 he married Rita (Murphy) Feltz and she survives at the residence in Celina. 
 

Other survivors include his children, Rajean Feltz, Darby Feltz, Dwain Feltz and Darin (Melissa) Feltz, all of Celina; four brothers, John (Cindy) Feltz, Fairborn, Ohio, Paul (Mary Ann) Feltz, Waynesville, Ohio, Ron (Mary) Feltz, North Canton, Ohio and Jerry Feltz, Erie, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Harper, Graham and Hallee.
 

Raymond was also preceded in death by a son, Dylon Feltz, four sisters, Kathy (Jerry) Schmitmeyer, Pauline (Urban) Drees, Mary Ann (Dick) Gray and Eileen (Pete) Slivinski; and a sister-in-law, Patty Jo Feltz.
 

He was a 1964 graduate of Marion Local High School, Maria Stein, Ohio.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina after 40 plus years of service.
 

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and Celina K of C.
 

Raymond was a master woodworker and was proud to have one of his pieces in the Smithsonian.  He was also very active in The Boy Scouts of America.
 

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
 

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. Tom Brenberger officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at the funeral home Monday morning.
 

Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Garden in Celina.
 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Endowment Fund.
