STONE

Linda J. Stone, age 62, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her residence. 

 

She was born April 22, 1959 in Coldwater to the late Lewis J. and Rita E. (Enneking) Bertke. 

 

On July 10, 1986 she married Raymond Stone and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2015. 

 

Survivors include her son, Michael Stone, Boardman, Ohio; brothers and sisters, Ronald Bertke, St. Marys, Diane (Myron) Gaier, Fort Loramie, Roxane (Brian) Lynch, Columbus, Roseanne (Terry) Hartzog, Lima, John (Maribel) Bertke, Columbus, Bernice (Cletus) Bulcher, Fort Loramie, Sandra Rector, Columbus, Carl (Andrea) Bertke, Amherst, Ohio, Dan (Renee) Bertke, Canton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Also preceding her in death was two brothers, Eugene and Kevin Bertke. 
 

Linda was a 1977 graduate of New Bremen High School.   She enjoyed baking, crocheting, crossword puzzles and visiting with friends and family. 

 

Memorial services will be held at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service.

 

Memorial contributions can be made to American Red Cross and/or Special Olympics.

RHYNE

Shirley Ann Rhyne, age 85, of Celina, passed away peacefully at the Miller Place in Celina on December 8, 2021 at 8:27 am. 

 

Shirley was born August 20, 1936 in Celina to the late Harold and Evon (Bilter) Rhyne.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Roether and Beverly Romer; and three brothers-in-law, William Roether, Boyd Arnold and George Romer.

 

Shirley is survived by two sisters, Betty Jean Arnold, Lima, Ohio and Barbara L. Rhyne, Celina; numerous nieces and nephews; and two aunts, Elizabeth Piper, Fort Wayne, Indiana and Joyce (Rhyne) Kaup, Celina.

 

She graduated from Celina High School in 1954.  She retired after working for forty nine years at several insurance agencies in Celina.  Shirley also found time to sell real estate on the side at Century 21 in Celina.  She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. 

 

Shirley will be greatly missed by those who loved her. 

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM.

 

Interment will follow at Mercer Memory Garden in Celina.
