LUTH

Ralph Edward Luth, 98, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 8:50 am on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. 

He was born on September 27, 1924 in Mercer County to the late Harry and Esta (Pierstorff) Luth.  He married Katharyn M. (Harris) Luth in 2002 and she preceded him in death on November 24, 2017. 

 

He is survived by his son, Thomas (Norma) Luth, Celina; two stepdaughters, Teresa (Jerry) Severt, Coldwater and Barbara (David) Ahrens, Celina; and two grandchildren, Dylan (Ashley) Luth, Celina and Zebulun (Shelby) Luth, Celina. 
 

He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years Jean (Stetler) Luth;  a brother, John Luth; two sisters, Pauline Luth and Mary Meikle

Ralph was a 1942 graduate of Rockford High School.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the WWII era.  He retired from Celina Insurance Group as a computer programmer after many years of service.
 

Ralph was an avid golfer and once had a hole in one.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and will be missed by all.  
 

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, Celina Masonic Lodge #241, Celina VFW Post #5713 and Celina Moose Lodge # 1473. 
 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am – 11:00 am prior to the services at the church. 
 

Burial with military honors will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

MINCH
Wahneta M. Minch, age 82, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Divine Nursing and Rehab at Shane Hill in Rockford. 

She was born on October 17, 1940 in Coldwater to the late Adolf and Mary (Sudhoff) Link. 

On May 7, 1966 she married Lewis Minch and he preceded her in death. 


Survivors include her children, Harold (Sherri) Minch, Herb Minch and Melissa Minch, all of Rockford; three grandsons, Cody (Jenessa) Minch, Spencerville, Derek (Genna) Minch, Cincinnati and Alex (Brandi) Minch, Freeland, Michigan; a granddaughter, Autumn Minch; and five great grandchildren. 
 

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Garman.
 

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Celina American Legion Auxiliary Post 210, Celina VFW Auxiliary Post 5713 and Celina Garden Club.
 

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the Minch family at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
