LUGINBILL
Rolland Dean
Luginbill, 86, of Rockford passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at
the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford. Dean was born on May 14, 1934,
in Mercer County, Ohio, to Roy and Goldie (Bollenbacher) Luginbill. In addition to his
wife, Helen, two daughters survive: Shari and Charles Koontz of
Rockford, Ohio and Michelle and Brian Fennig of Bluffton, Indiana; 5
grandchildren: Kyle (Lea) Luginbill, Lucas (Danielle) Luginbill, Drew
(Allie) Luginbill, Brandy (Jeff) Salamone, and Kayleigh Powell; and also
7 great-granchildren. One sister, Norma Jean (Charles) Fuson survives
in Celina, Ohio. Deceased are Dean’s parents, a son Todd, and 2
sisters: Leona Amburgey and Mary Luginbill; and two brothers: Kenneth
and Vernon Luginbill. Private funeral
services for the family, due to Covid 19, will be held on Tuesday at
2:00 p.m., at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford. Burial will
follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
ELLIOTT
Maryann E.
Elliott, age 73, of St. Marys, passed away December 4, 2020 at 5:00 am
in the Vancrest Senior Living Center in St. Marys. Maryann was born on
December 25, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa, to the late Bernard & Bertha
(Thurman) Holterhaus. On June 19, 1971,
Maryann married Dennis Elliott, who survives at their residence in
Celina. Maryann is also survived by a brother, Gary Holterhaus who
resides in Florida. Maryann was a 1964
graduate of Saint Aquinas High School in Fort Madison, Iowa. She worked
as a homemaker and dedicated her life helping young children. Maryann
worked as a private nanny, helped with early childhood development and
with her husband, Dennis, they proudly fostered twenty-three children
over the years. A gathering of
family and friends will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from
9:30 am – 10:30 am in Cisco Funeral Homes, Celina. A memorial service
will follow the gathering at 10:30 am in the funeral home, with Rev.
Matt Overman officiating. Attendees are
required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio
Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks
are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral. Cisco Funeral Homes of Celina & St. Marys are honored to care for Maryann and her family.
