HODGE

 

Vivian W. Hodge, age 88 of Celina, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on April 28, 1934 in Mercer County to the late Ray and Arkana (Crouch) Shellabarger. 

 

Vivian is survived by her children, Randy (Colleen) Shellabarger, Rockford, Dale (Heidie) Moorman, Celina, Sherri Hodge, Celina, Steve (Cindy) Hodge, Celina and Gary Hodge, Rockford; a sister-in-law, Martha Shellabarger, Mendon; eleven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

 

She is also preceded in death by a son, Doug Shellabarger; her siblings, Francis Stoner, Stanley Shellabarger, Loyal Shellabarger, Wayne Shellabarger, John Shellabarger and Evelyn Shellabarger.

 

Vivian was a 1952 graduate of Mendon Union High School.  She retired from Huffy Bicycle Company after many years of service.  She was a member of the Celina First Church of God in Celina.

 

Vivian enjoyed all sports and loved watching the The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Pastor Craig Flack officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9:00 am – 11:00 am before the service. 

 

Burial will follow at Friends Chapel Cemetery in Celina. 

 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Celina First Church of God.

BAUCHER

 

Michael L. Baucher, age 68, of Celina, passed away on August 8, 2022 at his residence in rural Celina.  He was born October 12, 1953  in Celina to the late C. Russell and A. Marvella (Jenkins) Baucher.  On August 12, 1978 he married Theresa (Marchal) Baucher and she survives at the residence. 

Other survivors include his children, Kurtis (Emily) Baucher, Celina and Bradley (Carla) Baucher, Celina; two brothers-in-law, Michael (Deanna) Marchal, Portland, Indiana and Donald Stacher, Celina; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Mangen, Amherst, Wisconsin and Winifred Marchal, Celina; four grandchildren, Alana, Annabelle, Waylon and Naomi; and many nieces and nephews. 

Mike is also preceded in death by his sister, Jane Stachler; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Marchal and Michael Mangen. 

Mike was a 1971 graduate of Celina High School and attended Wright State Lake Campus in Celina.  He worked as a farmer and retired from Farm Service Agency in Celina after 33 years of service. 

He was a member of Mt Carmel Church of God in Celina.  He enjoyed farming, gardening, riding his Gator and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be deeply missed.  

A visitation and gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina. 

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday morning August 11, 2022 at Mt Carmel Church of God, 2493 Carmel Church Rd., Celina, Ohio, with Pastor Mark K. Wakeland officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.

Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Rockford, Ohio.
