1 case heard today by Judge Burchfield and 3 heard by Judge Taylor



Tristan Boaz, 24, Van Wert, admitted to violating her probation by being unsuccessfully terminated from the WORTH Center. She was sentenced to 12 months prison with credit for 56 days already served.



Alex Helt, 41, Convoy, appeared for sentencing on charges of Aggravated Arson, F2 and Insurance Fraud, F4. His sentence was: 5 years community control on each count, concurrent, 180 days jail beginning today with work release, 200 hours community service, 3 years intensive probation, ordered to reimburse the State of Ohio $2,778.76 for the cost of the investigation plus court costs. He is also required to register as an arson offender for the rest of his life. 2 years prison was deferred.


Joshua Minyoung, 32, Van Wert, admitted to violating his probation by possessing drugs and failing to report to probation. He was re-sentenced to 5 year’s probation under the same conditions plus 60 days jail at a later date. 12 months prison was deferred.

Kaitlyn Russell, 20, Delphos, admitted to violating her probation by failing to report for daily drug screens and by failing to complete Westwood counseling. She was sentenced to prison for 11 months with credit for 131 days already served.
