8 arraignments, 1 plea, 1 sentencing and 2 probation violations heard today by Judge Kevin Taylor.
(All persons arraigned pled not guilty and had pretrials set for Jan 28, 2015 @ 8 am)
Quinton Schmenk, 32, Van Wert, Domestic Violence, Felony 4. He was released on a surety bond and ordered to provide address to probation and to have no contact with the victim.
Napoleon Shurelds, Jr. 30, Van Wert, Trafficking Counterfeit Controlled Substance, F4, Possession of Marijuana, F5, Possession of Heroin, F5, Possession of Cocaine, F5. He was released on surety bond.
Moses Wilder, 31, Van Wert, Domestic Violence, F3 and Rape, F1. His bond was set at $100,000 with 10% cash.
David Boff, Jr., 22, Van Wert, Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity Oriented Performance, F4 and Pandering Sexually oriented material concerning a minor, F4. He was released on a surety bond.
Jerad Smith, 26, Van Wert, 2 counts of Theft, each a felony 5. He was released on a surety bond.
Antin Bartley, 20, Van Wert, Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, F4 and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3. He was released on a surety bond.
James Reynolds, 35, Continental, Vandalism, F5. His bond was set at $10,000 with 10% cash.
Ernie Teman, 40, Delphos, 3 counts of Theft, each a felony 5. He was released on a surety bond.
CHANGE OF PLEA
Donald Thacker, Jr, 41, Thurman, Ohio, changed his plea to guilty to 1 of 5 counts against him. He pled to Vandalism, a felony 5. The other counts (3 counts of Tampering with Evidence and 1 count of Discharge of a firearm, all F3ís) were dismissed for his plea. The Court ordered a presentence investigation and set sentencing for Feb 25, 2015 @ 9 am
Kaitlin Russell, 19, Delphos, was sentenced for Possession of Drugs, F5. She was sentenced to: 3 years community control, 90 days jail now, Drug Court evaluation, additional 60 days jail at later date, obtain GED, 2 years intensive probation, 200 hours community service, ordered to pay court costs and partial appointed counsel fees. 11 months prison was deferred.
Dezmond Bywaters, 23, Van Wert, admitted violating his probation by Failing to Report to Probation. He was resentenced to 3 years community control under the same conditions plus an additional 30 days jail at later date. 12 months prison was deferred.
Rhonda Risley, 45, Convoy, admitted violating her probation by refusing to attend the WORTH Center. She was sentenced to: 3 years community control under the same conditions plus 90 days jail now, additional 30 days jail at later date, credit for 30 days served. 12 months prison was deferred.
